Ghazey H. Aleck II
Ghazey Aleck is a principal attorney in the Aleck and Jenkins law firm. He has been a licensed Michigan attorney since 1986. For three decades, Ghazey Aleck has been recognized as a tough litigator in Divorce, Child Custody and Criminal Defense in Midland, Mt. Pleasant, Bay City, Clare, Gladwin and surrounding counties.
Mr. Aleck is a product of a Northern Michigan upbringing. Ghazey Aleck comes from a law enforcement family and is a former police officer himself. His father was a lifelong police officer who ultimately served as the elected Clare County Sheriff. While his father was Sheriff, Ghazey Aleck attended Central Michigan University graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. He went on to get his Juris Doctorates Degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
Ghazey Aleck was elected Clare County Prosecuting Attorney in 1992. After leaving the prosecutor's office, Ghazey Aleck focused his trial abilities on Divorce, Child Custody and Criminal Defense. Anthony J. Jenkins
Anthony Jenkins is a principal attorney in the Aleck and Jenkins law firm. He has been a licensed Michigan attorney since 1998. Anthony was born in Tawas City, MI and moved early on in life to West Branch, MI where he graduated from Ogemaw Heights High School. Moving to Gaylord, MI after High School and attending Lake Superior State University in Sault Ste. Marie Anthony earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and went on to earn his Judicial Doctorate from Cooley Law School in Lansing. Anthony values spending time with his wife and two children along with hunting, fishing and golfing.
Anthony's interest in the law began early on as the son of a Michigan State Trooper. With a strong background in criminal justice and an understanding in the importance of family Anthony joined Aleck Law Firm as it was the perfect fit. Anthony became a partner in 2002 and Aleck and Jenkins was formed. With 15 years of experience representing clients in all matters concerning Child Custody cases, Divorce and Property Division, and for defending all types of criminal cases, Anthony has the unique set of skills that allows him to advise and represent clients in what is often a difficult and stressful situation. Scott Moore is an an associate attorney in the Aleck and Jenkins law firm. After graduating from The Detroit College of Law in 1995, he was sworn into the State Bar of Michigan and then appointed Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Gladwin County in 1996 through 1999. Since then, it was his privilege to serve the People as an assistant prosecutor for Clare County from 2001 through 2003, and most recently, from 2014 through 2016.
This public service was punctuated by a private practice focused on criminal defense and family law matters, spanning more than half the courts in Michigan. Mr. Moore took advantage of many training opportunities to hone his trial skills and knowledge of the law. He was among the first attorneys in the state to effectively use the safe harbor provisions of the Michigan Medical Marijuana Act. His command of child protection law and DHHS policy is well-respected by the local bar leading to successful reunification of families subject to CPS investigations. Mr. Moore believes that effective negotiation is founded on proven ability to win cases at trial; he has tried dozens of cases resulting in victories for his clients.
Over the last twenty years, Mr. Moore has come to understand that substance use disorder is at the bottom of most cases. In that regard, he has developed referral partners for diagnosis and treatment of SUD, serves as an advisor to the Clare/Gladwin Recovery Court, and is a member of the Ten16 Recovery Network Board of Directors. Mr. Moore is an able trial attorney with a proven track record; he is also a counselor at law capable of advising and guiding his clients toward a better path through life.

Heather Warren is an associate attorney with Aleck and Jenkins law firm. Heather Warren does all the law firm’s Probate and Estate work in addition to litigation in guardianships, adoption, criminal defense, divorce, custody and other civil matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Heather Warren was a Social Worker with Community Mental Health for 8 years. She is a graduate of Central Michigan University and graduated with Honors from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Heather Warren has been an associate attorney with Aleck and Jenkins since 2014 but had worked with the firm in other capacities since 2013
Heather Warren is married to Doug Warren and has three children. In her personal time, Heather enjoys boating, gardening, sewing, cooking and crafts.
